Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ Is Faster And More Efficient Than Quick Charge 4.0

Last year in November, the Qualcomm chipset manufacturer announced its new processor, dubbed as Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. Along with the processor, the company also introduced a fast battery charging technology known as Quick Charge 4.0. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and the HTC U11, both are powered by the newly announced Snapdragon 835 chipset. While there is no such device available that comes with the support for Quick Charge 4.0 technology.

Fast forward to 2017, the company has just announced the Qucik Charge 4+ and it would be considered the successor to the last year Quick Charge 4.0 technology. There are three major amelioration, which makes it better than its predecessor. The improvements can be discussed under the following heads;

The first improvement of the Quick Charge 4+ is “Dual charge” meaning it can divide the charge current across two circuits. This feature also helpful to reduce the charge time by 15 percent and lower the temperature by 3 degree Celsius as well. Qualcomm said that with the Quick Charge 4+, you can get 50 percent charge in just 15 minutes, sounds amazing.

Secondly, the new technology comes with an Intelligent Thermal Balancing. As you heard many news about exploding and bursting of a smartphone, due to overheating. This problem is rising day by day, so to solve this problem, Qualcomm added this new feature that can cool down your phone.

The third improvement is “Advanced Safety Feature” meaning it monitors the device case and connector as well to keep away from overheating.
