Jabra Sport Coach Wireless Headphones Have Been Available For Some Time Now

Jabra announced new versions of its Sport Coach wireless headphones and what it claims to be the “World’s first sports headphones that feature automatic repetition counting through the TrackFit motion sensor”.

The Sport Coach were more targeted towards bodyweight exercises and cross training. The companion Sport Life app had various workouts you could follow, with guidance provided through the headphones. The Sport Coach model also brings built-in encouragement that is piped through your earbuds. You will hear guidance on whether to speed up to hit a goal or tips on how to increase activity.


The Jabra Sport Coach Special Edition will feature automatic repetition counting through TrackFit motion sensor in conjunction with the Jabra app. The app counts and logs your repetitions and the sensor detects your movement, then advises when to move on to the next exercise.

On launch, the app will be able to automatically count ten exercises, like push-ups, burpees and lunges, but there will be updates increasing number of new exercises over the time.

There a a number of features that this Special Editions offer. It is IP55-rated for dust and water resistance with up to five hours of battery life, and last for up to 10 days in standby mode.

The company also notes improvements to sound quality with enhanced bass and overall call quality. Finally, for more fit opt, it come with comply memory foam tips and an improved sweat protection warranty. On top of the one year protection that comes standard, you’ll get an additional two years when you download the free Jabra app.

The Sport Coach Special Editions are set to ship in Q3, with the priced at $120.
