Sony Introduced New 70-300mm High-Resolution Zoom And 50mm F1.8 Prime Lenses

Sony Full-Frame lens Lineup extended with two models : Sony Bolsters Full-Frame FE Lens Lineup with New 70-300mm High-Resolution Zoom and 50mm F1.8 Prime Lenses.

The Sony FE 50mm F1.8 prime lens gives photographers a compact and lightweight normal lens which at roughly $250 is considerably less expensive option to the FE 55mm F1.8 ZA currently on the market. Sony FE 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 G OSS, that is the longest FE-mount telephoto. It features four aspherical and two ED elements, optical picture stabilization, and a Nano AR coating to reduce flare and ghosting. The lens provides a minimum focus distance of 0.9m/3ft, and uses a linear actuator for silent and smooth auto focus.

The new FE 70-300mm F4.5-F5.6 G OSS zoom lens represents first Sony Alpha E-mount lens to reach a 300mm focal length, featuring high resolution and superb overall optical performance throughout the whole of its range. The new 50mm F1.8 prime lens is extremely lightweight, compact and affordably priced, making it an ideal choice for those looking to explore the benefits of a large aperture lens at a reasonable cost.

Additionally, it has a circular aperture with a maximum of F1.8, producing beautiful “bokeh” in images which allows the subject to stand out against a smoothly defocused background. For extended durability, the prime lens is built with solid metal mount.

The FE 70-300mm f4.5 to 5.6-GB OSS zoom will be available in May for about $1,200. The FE 50mm f1.8 prime will also be available in May for about $250. Adorama is accepting pre-orders for the 70-300mm and the 50mm now. B&H is also accepting pre-orders for the 70-300mm and the 50mm camera lens.
