Logitech recently announced a new Logitech Spotlight Wireless Presentation Remote for delivering presentation to the present day with a new modern design. Presentation remotes get the job done with letting you click back and forth between slides without keeping your hand on a mouse, and will offers useful features like built-in laser pointer and ever air mouse and trackball functionally.

The Spotlight is an elegant-looking device, made of machine aluminum and a dramatically simplified interface. The remote is striking but simple, a far cry from the most of the black and gray mouse-like blobs out there. It is a rounded aluminum wand that measure 5.2 inches long and 1.2 inches wide. The presentation remote available in gold, gray and sliver finishes.

The company cuts down on buttons to make it easier to use without looking at the remote, offering only a single oversized forward button, a back button placed below it, and a media button on top. Spotlight buttons have the same colors as the remote’s body.

Instead of a laser point, the remote can highlight relevant information on a slide through a digital spotlight by holding down the media button that can be controlled by gestures. The remote also comes with a magnification feature for similarly highlighting information or zooming in on a picture.

The Logitech Spotlight Wireless Presentation Remote is compatible with most major presentation software, including PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, and Prezi. The remote will allows you to set custom commands, like scrolling documents and volume control.

Spotlight remote can connect to your computer over Bluetooth or with a USB port embedded in the base of the remote. Volume on a connected computer can also be controlled using additional gesture controls. The remote charge over the USB Type-C port and can quick charge to get three hours of use off a one-minute charge, for when you inevitably forget to charge it before a big presentation.
