A Funky-Looking High-End Wireless Loudspeaker

Devialet, the maker of some of the loudest and most unique-looking speakers on the market, announced its Immersive Theater System, which uses the latest and most powerful version of its Phantom speakers, the Gold Phantom, to deliver some truly ridiculous sound.

Egg like in shape, white only in colour, and beautifully smooth to the touch, the Phantom is a single speaker solution for your hifi needs.

The Phantom Gold is eight times more powerful than the Phantom with 4,500W and 108 decibels of power. It has a tweeter made from titanium capable of frequencies up to 27kHz.

Powerful, adaptable and easy to use, the new Phantom is small with only 10 x 10 x 13-inch footprint. The one button on the unit is for the reset, all other actions are performed by the free app(s) on your smartphone (iOS and Android).

The speaker connects to devices wirelessly via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Spotify and AirPlay Connect. It also takes wired connections through Ethernet or optical cable.

Additionally, the company says that the system is scalable, allowing you to use it in any size theater that you would like to obliterate with sound.

The Phantom’s footprint changes when attached to its dedicated stand called ‘Branch: Phantom Intelligent Base’. Devialet describes it as: ‘Branch raises Phantom to the ideal and the perfect height for an absolute audiophile listening. Connected thermally to Phantom, Branch maintains optimum functioning conditions.

The Phantom Gold is available for pre-order from the company’s website for $2,990.
