Toyota Camry RZ Special Edition Is Back With The Addition Of Satellite Navigation

Toyota has given the Camry range a few tweaks by adding standard satellite navigation to the limited edition RZ and mid-grade Atara S variants. In addition to the 7.0-inch touchscreen satellite navigation system, the Toyota Camry RZ also gains a six-speaker sound system, voice recognition and DAB+ digital radio, and it accounts for the $700 increase for the RZ, now its $29,190.

Other features carry over from the mid-year RZ. They include sports a suspension and more direct steering from Camry Atara SX, 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels along with low-profile tyres, styling tweaks such as a bootlid spoiler and mesh grille, premium steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, and keyless entry and engine start.

Thanks to the upgraded exhaust system, the Toyota Camry RZ produces an extra 2kW and 4Nm from its 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, that now boasts outputs of 135kW and 235Nm.

Front and rear parking sensors also standard, with RZ decals on the lower rear door and bootlid.

Like all Camry models, the Camry RZ comes fitted with seven airbags, a rear-view camera, traction control and stability, ABS with brake assist and electronic brakeforce distribution – helping it to achieve a 5-star ANCAP safety rating.

Five colours are now available, two solid (diamond white or cherry) at no extra cost, while the three premium hues (silver pearl, graphite metallic and eclipse black mica) command a $450 premium.

Limited to 700 units the Camry RZ is priced from $29,190 plus on-road costs, with the Camry Atara S price rising by $700 to accommodate addition of satellite navigation, now priced from $30,190 (plus on-roads) for petrol engine and $33,190 (plus on-roads) for the hybrid variant.
